Access and Contact Statement

Introduction

Villa Alycia is a four-bedroom house with swimming pool which was purpose built in 2011 as a residential property for the Diplock family and for occasional holiday rental. Due to its location, it was compulsory for it to be earthquake-proof.

We have tried to provide as much information as possible in this statement, if you have any queries please call or email us.

Three of the bedrooms are on the first floor, and one is on the ground floor. There are steps to the property at both front and rear entrances, so regrettably the property is not wheelchair accessible and we are unable to accommodate guests who cannot manage stairs.

Outside

Wrought iron gates onto the property delineate a parking area on the property itself; however a car can also be parked outside the gate. The garden and grounds are mostly laid to lawn, with marble areas around the pool and marble steps accessing the house. Care should be taken when walking on the marble as this can be slippery when wet.

Local facilities Cars, taxis and electric scooters can be hired locally. Local corner shops and supermarket are within 5 to 10 minutes walk. Dalyan town is a 15 minute walk from the villa, where there is a full range of shops, bank, and post office (PTT). Cars, taxis, minibuses and electric scooters can be hired locally. There are also many outlets for tourist trips to be booked.

Inside the House

Both front and rear entrances are accessed via marble steps. There is a balustrade to assist climbing the rear steps on the left-hand side going up, only.

The ground floor living area is open plan; kitchen, dining and lounge with ceramic tiled flooring throughout. There is a ground floor cloakroom with toilet and wash basin. Two sets of double sliding glass doors lead to the marble floored terrace with balustrade and marble steps down to the pool and BBQ area.

The ground floor double bedroom has a toilet/bidet, washbasin and ensuite wet shower room with handrail in the shower enclosure. Double sliding glass doors to a private balcony with balustrade.

The stone Staircase has a wrought iron handrail on the right going up.

The three first floor Bedrooms all have ensuite wet rooms with toilet/bidet, wash basin and shower enclosure and each has its own private balcony with balustrade through double sliding glass doors. There is ceramic tiled flooring throughout the first floor.

Bedding
Sheets and pillow cases are cotton. Non-feather pillows are provided as standard. White Egyptian cotton bath towels and had towels are provided. Pool/beach towels are provided.

Additional Information

Our manager Isa Pala will normally visit the villa both to welcome guests and in the morning following arrival. He is also responsible for care of the pool and will usually attend to the pool at around 8am on most days. You should direct any queries or concerns to him, either when he comes to the villa, or on his mobile.
